Help Remove Finacial Barriers
Steel Toe Careers will provide Bursaries to those seeking financial assistance to pursue their career path in the construction industry. STC focuses on Pre Apprentice training for a variety of trades that include Electrical, Plumbing and a Intro to Home Renovation Course. These pre apprenticeship courses are designed for students with hands on skills required to get them working and pursuing licenses in their respective trades. Linking students with jobs, helps contractors, helps the cities we work in. Steel Toe Careers believes that if you remove the financial barriers for many unemployed youth, marginalized communities and new Canadians a bright future is possible for many.

S.T.C will raise funds to provide scholarships for participants to pursue a career in the skilled trades.
This Bursary Opportunity is designed to give individual seeking financial assistance to pursue their career path in the construction industry.
To be eligible for this bursary this individual must be:
- 18+
- A Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Demonstrates clear career objectives in the construction industry
- Evidence of financial need
The Steel toe Careers scholarship program is designed to remove financial barrieres and give high school students the opportunity to take part in a pre-apprenticeship program that provides hands on skills required to get them working and pursuing licenses in their respective trades.
If you are selected to receive a scholarship you will be provided with a 12 week pre-apprenticeship training program in Home Renovation, Electrica or Plumbing.
This student must be:
- High School student 17 years old or older (Grade 12)
- Currently enrolled in high school
- be able to provide a reference letter from a teacher
- share why you wish to purse a career in the trades
- a parent/Guardian consent
